The "Berliner Tagesspiegel" reports on June 20, 2008 that the European Community plans to forbid selling conventional light bulps around 2010, as furhter countries plan to do, for example Australia.

The High Power DIMMER SC1 for up to 700mA drive current and up to 16 white High Power LEDs, directly operated from mains voltage (230V AC):

Using actual high power LEDs you can reach a light output of up to 1500 lumen - this is 50% brighter than a conventional 100W light bulp consuming only 20% of the energy!
